Bethesda kids

Loving children and sharing the truth of God's word with them in fun, engaging ways is one of our greatest blessings and responsibilities! Our team of volunteers is dedicated to doing just that. There is always plenty available for all ages during each of our gathering times.

  • sunday mornings

Join us for kids' classes during the first service, beginning at 9:30am.  We have something for children of all ages: birth through 5th grade. We’d love to see you there! During our second service, beginning at 11:00am, our options include:

    • Children of birth age through preschool continue with their extended session during the second service, beginning at 11:00am.

    • Kindergarten through 5th grade attend Kid’s Worship during the 11:00am second service.

    • About Kid’s Worship:  Our K-5 children enjoy a theatrical experience each Sunday morning as we bring the Word of God to them in an age-appropriate, relatable manner through fun, engaging performance! Our volunteers enjoy getting on the level of kids, and helping them with life’s tough questions. This is a fun, interactive time that occurs in parallel to the adult’s service, beginning at 11:00am.
  • vacation bible school: On the case

Growing spiritually doesn’t have to be an unsolved mystery! Take a five-day journey with kid detectives as they dig into a few of Jesus’ parables to solve the mysteries of how to grow their faith and how to care for, serve, and love others. They’ll discover that the answers have been there all along: spend time with God, spend time with others, use your gifts, and share your story.

    Coming August 1-5, 2022!

  • preschool play dates

We invite parents and their preschoolers to join us at the Bethesda Playground on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month from 10am-12pm!  This is a great opportunity to “take a load off” and allow your kid(s) to release some energy as you catch up and fellowship with fellow adults. You and your kids alike will build lasting friendships during these fun playdates.

  • child safety & volunteers

At Bethesda Baptist Church, it is a priority to provide a safe environment for the physical and emotional well-being of all children participating in church activities, including programs and classes. The church’s goal is to keep our volunteers and parents informed as well as enforce policies to ensure that all children are safe and well-protected while attending scheduled activities.

All volunteers and teachers undergo full background checks, screenings, and are trained specifically for their roles. We are thrilled that our volunteers have a desire from God and dedication to discipling children into becoming mature followers of Christ.
