Bethesda kids

Loving on children and sharing with them the truth of God’s word in fun, engaging ways is one of our greatest blessings!  Our team of volunteers is dedicated to doing just that.  There is always plenty available for all ages during each of our gathering times.

Sunday Mornings

Kids age birth-5th grade are currently studying through The Gospel Project during our Sunday school hour beginning at 9:30.  Their lessons include an interactive Bible study with games, crafts, and snack related to their lesson.  At 10:30, younger children continue with an age appropriate extension during Children’s Church, while kids in 3rd grade and above enjoy the Worship Service with their family.

Sunday Evenings

Bethesda Kids Choir meets from 6:00-7:00 pm to practice music and dramas throughout the year.  We are so thankful for the God-given talent of our directors, and the way they shepherd our children to use their gifts for the glory of God!

Wednesday evenings-Awana

The Awana prayer is that children and youth throughout the world will come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.  This is our prayer for your child, too!  The Awana program provides us with fantastic resources to come alongside you to develop spiritually strong children.  Clubs meet from 6:30-7:45, with check-in beginning at 6:15.  Dues remain at $15 for the year, and we do take summer break.  Details about each age-specific club can be found here.

vacation bible school

Each summer we host an exciting Vacation Bible School week.  Kids throughout the community join us to learn about Jesus and His Great love for us.

This year kids will race from continent to continent as they discover that, no matter where we live, what shade of skin we have, or what language we speak, we are all part of the same race - the human race - and all part of the same family from Adam and Eve.  Join The Incredible Race and experience God's love for every tribe, language, and nation!

June 17th - 21st from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

other special events

Our dedicated Children’s Ministry team is always looking for the best ways to minister to families within Bethesda and the surrounding area.  Whether it is a special holiday celebration, outreach project, or a simple fellowship event, there is never a dull moment around here.  Upcoming events can be found on the events calendar.

At Bethesda, child safety is our top priority.  During all services children must be checked in and out through our secure check in system.  We also require background checks and regular trainings for all of our workers.
