Bethesda WeeOnes is a half day early education ministry for ages 2 through pre-K. Children are a precious gift from God, and it is our mission to support parents as they love and train their young children. Lifespring academy
LifeSpring Academy is a unique, Christ-centered private school implementing a hands-on, student-centered approach to education. Operation Christmas child
Supporting Samaritan's Purse in providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world is close to our heart here at Bethesda. For the last fifteen years, packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes in November has been a good reminder of all that we have to be thankful for, most of all the gospel of Christ, and our responsibility to share it! In December we head to the distribution center to volunteer. Over 400 shoeboxes were collected last year!
Operation inasmuch
As believers, we are all called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a world in need. In 2018, our youth group led Bethesda to join other local area churches in an Operation Inasmuch volunteer blitz day where we were able to serve in a variety of ways in the community including providing grounds maintenance and blessing bags for the Smithfield Rescue Mission and iChoose Pregnancy Support Services. We look forward to seeing God work on our local mission field again this year!
ichoose pregnancy support
iChoose offers free, confidential services to women and men in unplanned pregnancy situations. They are committed to upholding the sanctity of human life by demonstrating the love of Christ through support for anyone facing unplanned pregnancy or those hurt by past abortions. We would love to have you join us at the annual A Love for Life Gala in the spring or Steps for Life fundraiser in the fall.
Smithfield rescue mission
For over forty years, Smithfield Rescue Mission has proclaimed the love of Jesus to those who are homeless and in crisis by providing shelter, necessities of life, and life changing programs to break the cycle of poverty. In an effort to be salt and light to the world, Bethesda supports the Mission through prayer, financial contributions, and volunteer service. Clayton Area ministries
Bethesda Awana clubs host a food drive twice a year to support Clayton Area Ministries' local food bank. Donations of time and money are also critical to keeping their organization going. Clayton Area Ministries provides food and assistance with utility bills to area residence in need.
