How to Become a Christian  

Do you know for certain that you have eternal life and that you will go to heaven when you die?

God’s Purpose
God loves you and has a purpose for your life. The Bible states it this way: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life”(John 3:16).  God’s purpose is for us to have eternal life – His life now and forever.

Our Need
Our sinful nature keeps us from fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives. “For all have sinned…” (Romans 3:23).

God’s Provision
God is holy and just and must punish sin, yet He loves us and has provided forgiveness for our sin through the death and resurrection of Jesus, who said, “I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes to the Father but by Me” (John 14:6).

Our Response
The only way Jesus can affect our lives is for us to receive Him: “But as many as received Him, to them He gives power to become sons of God”  (John 1:12).

As evidence of giving Jesus control, you will want to identify with Him. The Bible way is to confess Him publicly (Matthew 10:32-33) and to follow Him in baptism and church membership (Acts 2:41).

How to Make Bethesda Your Home Church

How can I join?
1.    At the conclusion of a worship service when the “invitation” is given, simply come to the front and someone will assist you.

2.    Or, simply call the church office and schedule an appointment to meet with someone either at the church or in your home. 

What is required of me to join?
1.  A personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.  

2.  Biblical baptism (immersion), if not done previously.

3.  Completion of church orientation class.

Morning Celebration

   8:30 am Monthly fellowship breakfast

   9:15 am Bible Study Fellowship (Sunday School small groups for all ages)

 10:30 am Worship Celebration (Includes childcare: nursery-pre-K)

Evening Gathering (6:00 to 7:30 PM)

• Adults – Large group Bible study and/or small group studies

• Youth – Specialized ministry time for today’s youth

• Children/Preschool-Awana (fall & spring) and special events during summer

• Nursery Care
