The Awana Program at Bethesda Baptist Church

Bethesda Baptist Church became a member of the AWANA family in 2003. AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.

At Bethesda, our AWANA ministry starts with the 2 year olds in Puggles, moves to Cubbies (ages 3 to Pre-Kindergarten), continues to Sparks (Kindergarten – 2nd grade), and ends with T&T, which includes the 3rd through 6th grades.

AWANA exists to reach children with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The heart of AWANA is the gospel message; that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. It is the prayer of our AWANA ministry that we do everything we can to instill God’s words into the hearts of children so that they will always have His words to lead and guide their lives.
